Lemon Lush

Lemon Lush

Total Time 3 hrs 30 mins
Servings 8 servings

Ingredients
  

1st Layer:

  • 1 1/4 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup butter melted
  • 1/2 cup ground pecans

2nd Layer:

  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup confectioners sugar
  • 2 tablespoons real lemon juice
  • 1 large container Cool Whip 16 oz

3rd Layer:

  • 4 small packages lemon instant pudding
  • 5 cups milk

Instructions
 

1st Layer:

  • Mix together and press into 9x13 baking dish.
  • Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.

2nd Layer:

  • Mix together until creamy then fold in 1 cup of the Cool Whip.
  • Spread onto cooled crust and chill.

3rd Layer:

  • Blend until pudding is thickened. Fold in remainder of whipped topping.
  • Spread over 2nd layer.
  • Chill for a few hours before cutting and serving.

    Can this be made with almond or any of the non-lactose “milks”? Looks so good.

    Your recipe calls for whipping cream but in the ingredients there is no call for it wanting to know how much whipping cream is required and what kind? Cool whip or real whipping cream?

      Either kind. One 16oz container divided if you are using Cool Whip

        The second layer has cool whip and it is mixed in the part with the pudding.

          You use one cup of the cool whip in the second layer.
          Then for the third layer you mix the pudding mix and milk until thick and add in the rest of the cool whip to it.
