Healthy Banana Oat Cookies

All natural cookies made with only 3 ingredients. These cookies are easy to make and a great home made snack for the kids! Banana cookies that are even perfect for breakfast!

Breakfast Banana Cookies

These only take a couple of minutes to make and are so easy with only 3 ingredients! A perfect after school treat for the kids and that doesn’t contain and processed ingredients! Home made is so much better because you know exactly what goes into your baked treats. The kids will love these healthy cookies.

Also great for using up bananas! Whenever I have some that need used up, I usually make these healthy cookies.

Healthy Banana Oat Cookies

Servings 1 dozen

Ingredients
  

  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 2 cups 100% whole grain old fashioned oats
  • 3/4 cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Mix the bananas and oats together until all the oats of moistened, stir in the dark chocolate chips.
  • Spoon out spoonfuls and roll into a ball.
  • Bake on 350 F for 18 - 20 minutes.

    Can we use regular chocolate chips, instead of dark chocolate chips?

    You can freeze bananas easily. ..just peel, break in half, and store in plastic bags and pop them into your freezer. When you take them out to thaw, they are mushy and ready to go into a recipe.

    I don’t understand what the recipe means by ,roll it into a ball…

      It’s an option if you like to do your cookies that way, you can also spoon onto the cookie tray.
