Candy Cane Wreath

This candy cane wreath is so cute! This is a great conversation starter as well as a gift! When people come to visit at Christmas they’ll love your wreath!

Candy Cane Wreath

Here’s the instructions on how to make your very own homemade candy cane wreath, aren’t they wonderful? They are really easy to make and older kids can help.  It’s a great craft for a teen youth group to make. All crafts can be bought at the dolloar for this so it’s not expensive to make.

What you’ll need:

20 candy canes

Ribbon

Glue Gun

One large decoration for the center

Various small decorations

How to make the wreath:

Arrange the candy canes in pairs as shown in the picture.

Tie each pair together with ribbon, back to back.

Use a hot glue gun to glue a large decoration to the centre (it will also keep the candy canes together).

Glue small, round ornaments to each candy cane pair.

Hang it up with a ribbon on your door or anywhere else you’d like to hang it!

This is so cool to give as a gift or just to make to hang on your door. Homemade decorations are always my favorite!

What size candy canes do you utilize?
What do you use for stabilizing the back?
    Thank you so much!

What did you end up using as a backing to stabilize it?

I made it. I love it. But you need something on the back to help stabilize it..
