My kids were so excited this year to grow tomatoes in our garden. There’s something about this juicy, red fruit that’s just exciting to watch turn that vibrant colour and watch for the perfect time to pick and then eat! Baked Cheesy Tomatoes
- 4 tomatoes halved
- 1/4 Cup parmesan cheese
- 1 Oz provolone cheese mozzarella
- 1 Tsp basil chopped
- 1 Tsp oregano chopped
- salt to taste
- Preheat oven to 450° F.
- Place tomatoes cut-side up on a baking sheet.
- Top with Parmesan, provolone, oregano, basil, salt and pepper.
- Bake until the tomatoes are tender, about 15 minutes.
